Customer service hearings relating to a petition filed by Gulf Power
Company to recover 2004 and 2005 hurricane-related damages have been cancelled
following a settlement filed May 11 by attorneys for the company and the
The hearings had been scheduled by the Florida Public Service Commission
for May 17 and 18 in Pensacola, and May 23 in Panama
City, to provide customers an
opportunity to comment on the company’s petition. The five-member Commission
will review the proposed settlement agreement at a date to be determined.
Customers who wish to provide comments regarding the proposed settlement
