The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) is requesting input for development of policies or programs to enhance Florida’s use of solar energy. PSC Commissioners recently agreed that information from individuals, businesses, and utilities on practical ways to more effectively promote solar energy in Florida would be useful.
“It makes sense to involve all stakeholders in gathering information on practical policies and programs to encourage solar energy,” said PSC Chairman Art Graham. He noted that the Commission concluded that the expensive pilot programs currently in place have yielded insufficient results.
