The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the Tuesday, May 5, Agenda Conference:
ITEM 3: Docket No. 040763-TP – Request for submission of proposals for relay service, which assists the hearing and speech impaired, and other implementation matters in compliance with the Florida Telecommunications Access System Act (TASA) of 1991. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing Florida Telecommunications Relay Inc.’s 2009-2010 proposed budget, a review of the customer surcharge, and the appointment of replacement TASA committee members.
ITEM 10: Docket No. 080366-GU – Petition for rate increase by Florida Public Utilities Company. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing the utility’s requested rate increase.
ITEM 14: Docket No. 080677-EI – Petition for increase in rates by Florida Power & Light Company. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing the suspension of Florida Power & Light’s requested permanent rate increase. The suspension is a procedural requirement of the rate increase request and will not affect customer rates.
ITEM 15: Docket No. 080318-GU – Petition for rate increase by Peoples Gas System. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing the allowed revenue, as part of the utility’s requested rate increase.
ITEM 16: Docket No. 080193-EQ – Petition for approval of renewable energy tariff and standard offer contract, by Florida Power & Light Company. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing the issues and evidence presented at the January 22, 2009 hearing which had been requested by Wheelabrator Technologies, Inc.
