The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct a customer meeting on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, for customers of Cypress Lakes Utilities, Inc. (Cypress Lakes). The utility provides service to approximately 1,458 water and 1,419 wastewater customers in Polk County and has applied for a rate increase. Cypress Lakes’ last approved rate increase was in 2007.
The meeting allows customers to comment on the proposed rates and any quality-of-service issues relevant to the utility. Customers are invited to attend the meeting at the following time and location:
