The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold public hearings in Brooksville to address Skyland Utilities, LLC’s (Skyland) application to operate a water and wastewater utility for customers in southeastern Hernando and northeastern Pasco Counties.
PSC Commissioners invite the community to provide feedback about the utility and its application at two customer hearings at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7. Between the morning and afternoon customer hearings, the public is welcome to attend a technical hearing where the Commission will hear evidence and testimony from the utility and interested parties, including Skyland’s proposed rates and charges. If necessary, the technical hearing will continue on Thursday, July 8.
All comments, written and oral, will be taken into consideration when the Commission decides on Skyland’s request at a future PSC Agenda Conference. The customer hearings are set for the following times and location:
