Florida’s Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold a workshop on Thursday, August 5, to discuss the 10-year site plans of Florida’s 11 largest electric utilities.
Each plan estimates the utility’s power generating needs and the location of proposed power plant sites over the 10-year planning horizon. In addition, the Florida Reliability Coordinating Council will present the Peninsular Florida Regional Load and Resource Plan detailing the state’s transmission needs. The workshop provides an opportunity for public comment.
The workshop is set for the following time and location:
Thursday, August 5, 2010
Betty Easley Conference Center
Joseph P. Cresse Hearing Room (Room 148)
4075 Esplanade Way
