Commissioner Ronald A. Brisé will take the public oath of office Tuesday for Florida Public Service Commissioner (PSC). New PSC Commissioners Art Graham and Brisé were officially sworn in to their new positions earlier this month. The ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Betty Easley Conference Center, and the regularly scheduled Agenda Conference will follow.
The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the PSC at the August 17 Agenda Conference:
ITEM 2: Docket No. 100186-EG – Petition for approval of natural gas residential energy conservation programs, by Associated Gas Distributors of Florida (AGDF). The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing proposed modifications to existing natural gas residential energy conservation programs for AGDF’s seven members.
ITEM 3: Docket No. 000121A-TP – Investigation into the establishment of operations support systems permanent performance measures for incumbent local exchange telecommunications companies (AT&T Florida Track). The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing whether to accept the revised Performance Assessment Plan and the settlement agreement between AT&T, Competitive Carriers of the South, Saturn Telecommunications Services, and Florida Cable Telecommunications Association.
ITEM 5: Docket No. 090368-EI – Review of the continuing need and costs associated with Tampa Electric Company's five Combustion Turbines and Big Bend Rail Facility. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing a joint motion for approval of Stipulation and Settlement Agreement designed to resolve all issues in this case.

Docket No. 080677-EI – Petition for increase in rates by Florida Power & Light Company (FPL).
Docket No. 090130-EI – 2009 depreciation and dismantlement study by Florida Power & Light Company. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing FPL’s motion for reconsideration and Florida Industrial Power Users Group’s (FIPUG) cross-motion.
