The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct two service hearings on Tuesday, October 5, for customers of Water Management Services, Inc. (WMSI). The utility provides water service to approximately 1,805 customers in Franklin County and has applied for a rate increase. WMSI’s last approved rate increase was in 2006.
The hearings allow customers to comment on the proposed rates and any quality-of-service issues relevant to the utility. Customer comments, written and oral, will be taken into consideration when the Commission reaches a decision. One or more Commissioners may attend and participate during the hearing. Customers are invited to attend the hearings at the following times and location:
Tuesday, October 5, 2010
10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
St. George Island Volunteer Fire Department
324 E. Pine Avenue
A technical hearing will follow the service hearings as time permits and will continue at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, October 6 and 7, if necessary.
