TALLAHASSEE —
The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) today approved modifications to Duke Energy Florida, LLC’s (DEF) pilot incentive riders to enhance economic development until October 17, 2019.
“The PSC continues to support efforts that provide incentives to retain and attract new Florida commercial customers,” said PSC Chairman Julie Brown. DEF’s Economic Development and Redevelopment Riders offer discounts over a five year period for new or expanding businesses that meet certain electric load, capital investment, and job creation requirements. Similar tariffs were previously approved by the Commission for Gulf Power Company, Florida Power & Light Company, and Tampa Electric Company. For additional information, visit www.floridapsc.com.
