Lifeline Assistance

Consumers may receive a Lifeline discount for voice service, broadband service, or a bundle with both, but each household may only receive one discount. To determine what services each Lifeline provider is offering, consumers should check with the Lifeline providers to determine if voice, broadband or both are being offered in your area. Customers receiving voice-only Lifeline service are eligible for a discount of $7.25 from their monthly bill. Customers receiving either broadband, or bundled voice and broadband Lifeline service are eligible to receive a discount of $9.25 from their monthly bill.

If you qualify for one of the eligibility programs, customers can fill out the National Verifier Lifeline application at https://nationalverifier.servicenowservices.com/lifeline . You may also print the Lifeline application located below, fill it out, and send it to the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) along with the documentation proving that you are participating in the eligibility program you checked on your application. Once USAC processes your request, you will need to contact your desired service provider to begin receiving Lifeline service. Customers who are not currently receiving benefits from one of the programs listed below, should contact USAC at https://www.lifelinesupport.org/, or at 1 (800) 234-9473, to determine if they meet the income eligibility criteria necessary to participate in Lifeline.
